Golf tradition raises funds for charity

Saturday, September 9th, 2006

The 9th Annual J. Cousineau's Golf Tournament was held on Sunday, September 9 at the Daytona Golf Course in Dayton. The owners of J. Cousineau's, Dave and Misty Zapf, have given thousands of charity dollars to various organizations with funds raised from the annual golf tournament. The tournament was staffed by friends and residents wanting to do more for their community. Approximately 100 golfers played in the rain and cold this year to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis and the Maple Grove Ambassador Scholarship Program. Over 30 individual and corporate sponsors donated prizes and awards that were given out at J. Cousineau's after the tournament. On hand to accept their donation were Maple Grove Ambassadors Korbin Kvaas, Gillian Key and Stephanie Plant.
