MAPLE GROVE AMBASSADOR SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
2010 Maple Grove Ambassador applications are now available!
The Maple Grove Ambassador Scholarship Program is now accepting applications for the opportunity to become of the three 2010 Maple Grove Ambassadors - Grand 'Ole Grove! Women ages 17-21 who are graduating seniors and reside in Maple Grove or Osseo, or work or attend school in Maple Grove are eligible. Applications are available on our website, at the Maple Grove and Osseo Senior High Schools, and at the Maple Grove Community Center. An educational scholarship will be awarded to the crowned Ambassadors.
In choosing to be a candidate, you will have the opportunity to take part in the Candidate Experience. From early June through coronation in mid-July, we have several activities planned especially for you that will allow you to develop your personal and professional skills. These skills will ultimately enhance your future careers and will serve as a momentous experience that you will carry for a lifetime. Now in our seventh year, we have seen such wonderful growth in many of the candidates, as they have been very thankful for the opportunity to participate whether or not they have won.
While we understand that you may not be able to attend all events, we do encourage you to participate as much as possible to make the most of your time as a candidate.
Many candidates have asked what the time commitment is like throughout the year, provided you become an Ambassador. The summer months are very busy as several communities celebrate their festivities during this time. Throughout the school year, the commitment is less with events in September, October, December, January and April.
We do hope that you will consider becoming a candidate. We look forward to including you in our Ambassador family tree. We are excited to see you this summer!
